Board Riding Club Details
Sunshine Coast, Sunshine Coast Girls Boardriders
Sunshine Coast Girls Boardriders Club Inc was initially formed in the late eighties on the Sunshine Coast to foster and encourage girls of all ages and abilities to participate in surfing.
2009 brought a new Committee on board headed by seasoned competitor Tara Christie. Tara's committee includes Jaimee White (Treasurer) and Cassa Heilbronn (Secretary).
Club Meets are held on the last Sunday of each month either at Coolum or Maroochydore. Call Cassa on 0417 706 395 for more details. General Meetings are held once a month.
Membership for 2010 will be $35 per person and $10 for each additional family member.
The Club in December 2009 received a much welcomed Grant from the Gambling Community Benefit Fund which will be used to purchase new equipment from Primitive Surf, have a new website built, and have 5 members complete their Level 1 Judging Accredition with Surfing Queensland.
