Gold Coast, Tweed Coast Girls Boardriders Club
The Tweed Coast Girls Boardriders Club aims to encourage grass roots of women’s surfing in the Tweed Coast and Gold Coast areas, and offer a forum for girls and women to compete against each other at their own level. We hope to be supportive of all who wish to join, whether beginner or advanced and of all ages. Mostly we want to offer a fun day, once a month, where we can build the camaraderie of women and girls in the water!
YOUR JOINING FEE:
$30 for 2011 helps us cover our insurance and equipment costs. We are a non-profit organisation and will keep costs as low as possible to keep TCGB accessible to all.

Meet Our Committee:
KYLIE (Contest Director) – ex pro surfer, tropical plant lover and dog owner
CLARE (Treasurer)– frothing beginner, numbers whizz and mother of one
CARO (Club Pres) – advanced division, surfboard business owner, ocean environment warrior and mother
KIRSTY (Head Judge) – school teacher (has a few students in the club so she gets BIG cheers when she surfs - and BIG scores too if the students want extra brownie points!), intermediate level
MERYL (Coaching Coordinator) – another numbers whiz, advanced charger, organiser of weekly early morning coaching sessions on the Gold and Tweed Coasts
BETH (Beach Marshall) – advanced frother, mother, creative wannnabe.
